from "mwtapp" on Digg:
If you can't view the videos and are using Firefox, install the following addon: http://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/967 then: 1) In Firefox, Go to tools->modify headers
2) From the drop down box on the left select add
3) Then enter: "X-Forwarded-For" in the first input box without the quotation marks
4) Enter: "12.13.14.15" in the second input box without the quotation marks
5) Leave the last input box empty, and save the filter, and enable it

6) Click the 'Configuration' tab on the right then proceed to check the 'always on' button.
Close the Modify Headers box and it should work.
7) Enjoy.

i understand that canadians aren't happy with this coalition stuff (which i admit i still don't fully grasp... except that everyone's unhappy with it).
what i do see (or more specifically, what i DON'T see a lot of) is mention of the fact that only 59.1% of disillusioned canadians bothered to vote in the somewhat grey/illegal election six weeks ago -- a record low turnout.
i'm not certain how much bitching and griping can be attributed to what the current government is doing, but even i know that had that other 30% shown up to vote, the current state of things would have been solidified and there would be no room for whining.
i'm open to anyone's thoughts on how this affects what i see and hear lately on the news. |

| And Finally.... |
[Nov. 6th, 2008|02:02 pm] |
this one sums it up. regarding fervent mccain supporters:
"They never spoke about issues or ideals. They just spent hours typing out hatred for Obama. You rarely ever saw a positive McCain post, just lots of negative Obama posts. That's when I had a pretty good idea McCain was going to lose. His supporters had passion but it wasn't for him, it was a passionate hatred for Obama."
and that's exactly it.
okay. enough about that. |

and another...
"Obama can go on TV for 30 minutes and not mention John McCain even once.
No way the reverse would be true."
again, well said. |

best quote i've heard about this:
"Obama supporters vote for him because he will make a great president, not out of fear of McCain. McCain supporters vote for McCain out of fear of Obama, not because McCain will make a great president."
well said. |

i hope, someday, a foreign entity invades the united states and engages a war with the ruling government, so as to help introduce and build democracy within that country, and to deliver the gift of freedom to the people. |
